We at Alpha1 Germany pursue the goal of raising awareness of the disease Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency among doctors, researchers, politicians and the general public so that the interest in researching better living conditions and even a cure remains a focus.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we regularly organize information days for adults and children, to which we specifically invite speakers who deal intensively with Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.<\/p>\n

To achieve our goal, we depend on the active support of our members.<\/p>\n

The more Alphas unite, the more clearly we will be heard by doctors, researchers, and politicians. That's why we are always looking for new members \u2013 whether homozygous or heterozygous.<\/p>\n

Our members benefit from their membership: We keep them informed at least once a year through our Alpha1 Journal. This journal features contributions from medical professionals, support groups, and members. Furthermore, participation in our information days \u2013 and of course, the general meeting \u2013 is free for members.<\/p>\n
