This program has helped many COPD patients improve their condition and quality of life. Furthermore, the program optimizes resources for healthcare providers and payers, leading to cost savings.<\/p>\n<p>The IfGV and Alpha1 Germany are advocating for the inclusion of the diagnosis of alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency in the COPD disease management program (DMP).
