Below we have compiled some information that might be of particular interest to us Alphas:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>We would like to reiterate that there is no evidence that a\u00a0<strong>PiMZ\u00a0<\/strong>PiMZ is among the high-risk patients. The same statements apply to PiMZ as to everyone else: The risk depends on age and pre-existing conditions (especially immunodeficiency).<\/li>\n<li>Another piece of good news: according to current findings, an infection progresses normally for\u00a0<strong>Children\u00a0<\/strong>Largely without serious complications. Read the study (initial analysis) by the Chinese health authorities here. Data from approximately 44,000 people were analyzed \u2013 including 416 children aged 0 to 9 years. They all had a confirmed coronavirus infection. There were no deaths among the children.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/weekly.chinacdc.cn\/en\/article\/id\/e53946e2-c6c4-41e9-9a9b-fea8db1a8f51\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&gt;&gt;&gt; Z<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/weekly.chinacdc.cn\/en\/article\/id\/e53946e2-c6c4-41e9-9a9b-fea8db1a8f51\">UR STUDY<\/a><\/li>\n<li>We are in close contact with Alpha-1 patient organizations in various countries. There are no known cases of Alpha-1 patients contracting the COVID-19 virus.
