Or the offered sport turns out to be nothing more than seated gymnastics in a completely joyless setting. Or the weather is awful, you have to look after the dog or grandchildren, or\u2026<\/p>\n<p>No more excuses, because every Friday at 10 a.m. (times may be subject to slight changes) online lung exercise with Peddar takes place at home \u2013 without any risk of infection, but with all the more fun. Trainer Peter Kukry knows the problems we Alphas face, because he is affected himself. And as a qualified sports teacher, lung exercise trainer, and respiratory therapist, he is the ideal person for the job. Therefore, his exercise program is perfectly tailored to our needs.<\/p>\n<p>After a warm-up with simple movements to upbeat music, the program includes exercises for building and maintaining strength, stretching and mobilization, as well as breathing exercises and relaxation. After an hour, you&#039;ll be thoroughly exercised and have done something very good for yourself and your health. We all know that regular exercise, adapted to our fitness level, is one of the best things we can do for ourselves. If it&#039;s too fast or strenuous, simply take a break or slow down, and if you feel unchallenged, double the pace without breaks \u2013 it works for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Every member of Alpha1 Germany can participate free of charge, but you should first obtain a certificate from your doctor stating that there are no contraindications to participation. You can then join by contacting Peddar at peddar2012@gmail.com.<\/p>\n<p>Before you begin, you can gather the necessary equipment: This would include a long resistance band (not necessarily the blue one to start with, as that&#039;s particularly intense!), a stick or broom handle (you can find adjustable lengths and handles in drugstores and household goods sections for a small price \u2013 very handy), two bottles for weights, a medium-sized ball, and possibly a mat or towel for the floor. Ideally, the laptop or similar device should have a camera so that Peddar can see what the participants are doing and correct them if incorrect posture is causing problems.<\/p>\n<p>Now we&#039;re ready to go.
