The second half of 2025, which also included the second anniversary of the Alpha-1 Europe Alliance (A1EA), was so full of events and activities that it is not possible to list them all, and this report therefore focuses on a few key areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

First, it is worth mentioning that the A1EA has strengthened its personnel and organizational structure: Since October 2025, Flaminia Macchia has been advising us on representing our interests on the EU political stage. She has been active in Brussels for years for various rare disease organizations and has already had the opportunity to successfully represent the Alliance, together with our Chair Fernanda Aspilche, at an event in the European Parliament.<\/p>\n

A key theme in the second half of 2025 was further education, with, among other things, the following focus areas:<\/p>\n
