Last meeting of our self-help group Saxony & Saxony-Anhalt in 2019 at the Horch Museum Zwickau

Fourteen members of our self-help group participated.
It was interesting and tiring, not least because we did a lot of walking. That weekend also featured a special exhibition by the VW Group with all its subsidiaries. There was a lot to see and learn, for example, that Horch cars were already equipped with many extras back then. Some cars even had a sink installed so that the gentlemen could wash their dishes after a picnic.
Even back then, Horch cars had built-in jack stands. This meant the car could be raised on four jack stands to change the wheels. Such systems are still used in DTM cars today.
It was also very nice to hear that 90% of the vehicles on display there are still roadworthy. At events like the Sachsen Classic, some of these gems still participate every year.
