This is the second time since our self-help group Saxony & Saxony-Anhalt was founded that we have held a group meeting at the above-mentioned hotel and country inn.
The members of the SHG were very much looking forward to this meeting, as it is always an experience to enjoy the good Saxon cuisine there.
Everything was well prepared for us in the Saxony Room. As you can see, the innkeeper and his team adhered well to the social distancing rules.
With their own hygiene concept, disinfectant at the entrance and, just in case, a pack of new mouth and nose masks / surgical masks, the preparation was perfect!
Once the important organizational matters were taken care of, we began our discussions. Using a guideline for upcoming meetings of our self-help group, we will adhere to a somewhat structured approach. We believe this is a good way to bring some order to the meetings.
This meeting, today, October 23, 2021, was definitely different from any of our previous meetings. But in this way, we were able to resolve disagreements within our group, which also brings the self-help group closer together again.
When we finally sat down to eat, the conversation had shifted into a relaxed exchange. We agreed on March 12, 2022, for our next meeting and will try to organize it in Saxony-Anhalt; more precisely, we will visit Rudelsburg Castle on the Saale River.
Autumn is here, winter is just around the corner, and we hope we can all see each other again in March 2022. Hopefully, the Covid-19/SARS-CoV-2 pandemic won't spoil anything for us by then.
Greetings from Saxony! We wish you all a wonderful time and hope you all stay healthy.
