A general request and piece of information beforehand: I prefer the more personal "DU" (informal "you") in communication within this group, as it facilitates direct interaction in my opinion.
However, if a participant does not wish to use the formal "Sie" (you), it is also no problem for me to use it.
I am very pleased that you are visiting this page, which is intended to help you to better understand the Alpha 1 condition.
The purpose is to provide information, facilitate exchange, and carry out activities here in the region.
My name is Carsten Büch (born 1968) and I come from near Weinheim, Bergstraße. I have the PIZZ genotype and have been receiving hormone replacement therapy since March.
I found my way to Alpha1 Deutschland eV in 2019, initially as a guest reader, then registered for membership in 2022 and have now decided to participate here with commitment and active interest.
For this reason, we are opening the self-help group Rhein-Neckar-Odenwald, which I would like to see understood more as a community of interest.
I will get in touch with you shortly and am also planning a first personal meeting later this year.
