Dear Alphas and friends of the SHG-Münsterland,
Our online lecture on the topic of "Law and Social Issues" unfortunately started 25 minutes later than planned.
Yes, that's sometimes how it is with internet presentations; you put one box in the wrong place and the link no longer works.
Problems are there to be solved!
A new host was quickly created via ZOOM and sent to the registered participants.
The only downside was that not everyone participated afterwards.
Despite the delay and new link, 11 participants, including the speaker and staff from AlphaCare, were still able to attend the lecture.
AlphaCare had once again invited a very competent speaker.
Not only was her expertise impeccable, but she also presented the material in a very engaging way. Furthermore, she involved all the participants in her presentation, which was very well received.
Many important questions were discussed, many of which came from the audience, e.g.
- Health insurance – what do I do if my application is rejected?
- Co-payment rules (1% rule) etc.
- Household help, e.g., after a hospital stay
- Sick pay
- Prescription for physiotherapy, remedies
- Application for severe disability
- REHA
- Care levels
- VDK, MDK
and very important
- Power of attorney
Although we were online for almost 3 ½ hours, the time passed very quickly.
Consideration should be given to holding such an event again in person next year.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the fantastic speaker once again, as well as AlphaCare for the organization.
