Hello and good day,
In these particularly difficult times of the pandemic, especially for those with pre-existing conditions, it's personally important for me to take all necessary precautions. As someone with Alpha 1-ZZ, I don't go anywhere where several people gather, not even to the shops. My husband does the same. After all, he could "bring" the virus home from shopping. We're fortunate that our children do the shopping for us. The groceries are left at our door, and we transfer the money we've paid into their account electronically. That works perfectly. My husband and I go for regular walks. Short chats over the garden fence, keeping a safe distance, are our only contact with the outside world. I'm also often busy sewing my own face masks. I downloaded the instructions from the city of Essen's website. I used double-layered muslin. Now I've started sewing for family members and friends. These masks can be boiled. That's very important. They're not disposable masks, after all. I hope that we can overcome this terrible pandemic and that everyone deals with it responsibly. Now is not the time for "every man for himself," but for "all for one and one for all." With that in mind, stay healthy. See you soon.
