Your opinion is important to us: Evaluation of the questionnaire for the Alpha1 Journal at the members' meeting in Bremen

At our members' meeting on April 22nd/23rd, 2016 in Bremen, we asked you to take a moment to answer a few questions about our Alpha1 Journal. We would now like to present the results and thank you for your feedback. This will help us to continue making our journal, and especially our website, interesting and informative for you. We received the following responses: We received a total of 66 questionnaires back from you. The first questions were answered by all 66 participants and were as follows:
- I like the Alpha1 Journal?
- Do the various sections meet my expectations in terms of content?
- Are the written articles (on medical topics) formulated in a way that I can understand?
Satisfaction with the Alpha1 Journal is overwhelmingly positive. 321 members surveyed gave it a top rating (1) and 641 gave it a second rating (2) in the category "I like the Alpha1 Journal." The content of the journal's individual sections achieved similarly high results, with 861 members rating it "very good" or "good." This result demonstrates that the section content resonates with readers. The Alpha1 Journal also scored very well in the third question regarding the clarity of its articles, with 941 members rating it "very good" or "good.".
Which section do you particularly enjoy reading?
It's encouraging that most members enjoy reading all the topics in our journal. News from science and research is clearly the most popular.
What's missing from the journal?
Most survey participants felt the journal lacked nothing. However, 25 people expressed specific wishes. Most expressed a desire for more information on current studies and research. Other topics of interest included nutrition, personal experiences, traveling with Alpha-1, and managing medication.
