Annual review of the SHG Münsterland 2020
At the end of 2019, we had planned dates, events and meetings for our group for 2020.
Unfortunately, as we all know, the year turned out quite differently.
Covid-19 turned everything upside down.
Our first meeting at the beginning of March was already under the influence of Corona. Shortly afterwards, the first lockdown followed. Personal meetings had become impossible.
Since we already had a WhatsApp group for the Münsterland self-help group, we were still able to exchange information. This was used extensively and certainly helped to support some of us during this time.
In the autumn, after the first easing of the lockdown, the time was used to organize a meeting at short notice in our local venue „Waldhaus an de Miälkwellen“ in Ladbergen.
This meeting took place in accordance with the Corona rules – AHA rules, etc.
Nevertheless, it turned out to be a very nice group meeting where we had some round birthdays to announce. As always on such occasions, there was a small gift for each birthday person.
Due to a second lockdown, further meetings were not possible and everyone hoped for some normality next year.
