CSL Behring
Do you suffer from alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) and are currently self-administering CSL Behring alpha-1 antitrypsin, or have you discussed with your doctor that you will soon be self-administering this medication?
Then you are cordially invited to participate in this patient survey as part of an observational study!
The aim of this survey is to gather further insights into the use of CSL Behring's Alpha-1 Antitrypsin in home/self-treatment directly from you as a user. How well do you manage with the application? What impact does home/self-treatment have on your daily life and quality of life? Which aspects are less important to you, and which are particularly important?
Your participation in this patient survey will not provide you with any personal benefit beyond the benefits of the treatment. However, your experiences will help to continuously optimize home/self-treatment for you and future patients, and to better tailor it to the needs of users.
If you participate in the study, you would be asked to complete specific questionnaires at 4-6 regular intervals over a period of 12-15 months. The questionnaires can be completed digitally using your smartphone, tablet, or laptop/PC.
The scientific director of the study is Prof. Rembert Koczulla (Schön Clinic in Schönau).
If you are interested in participating in this observational study, please contact Alpha1 Germany, who will be happy to send you a study flyer. This flyer contains further information about the study as well as an individual QR code that you can use to register for participation.
Thank you very much for your interest!
