Online survey on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on children and adolescents with and without chronic illnesses and disabilities

What is it about?

While it is becoming increasingly clear that Covid-19 infections in children are rarely severe, there are also growing signs that the effects of the pandemic-Measures These are serious consequences for children and young people. This affects children with and without chronic illnesses or disabilities, as well as their entire families. However, the extent to which this impacts children and families can vary considerably from case to case.

In order to better take these different problem situations into account when determining future infection control measures, they will be thoroughly researched using this survey.

What is being investigated?

  • How is/was the quality of your child's medical care affected by pandemic-related measures?
  • How does the pandemic affect your child's participation in school, kindergarten, and social life?
  • How are the pandemic measures affecting your family's daily life?

How can I participate?

The first online survey only takes about 15 minutes. Click here to take the survey: https://is.gd/covid19umfrage

A second questionnaire will follow in winter 2020/2021; a third questionnaire in autumn/winter 2021.

Participants can withdraw from the study at any time without giving a reason – or participate only in the first survey or only in the first two.
