Thanks to our high membership numbers (we've reached 903 members for the first time in our club's history), we were able to hire Katrin Fell on a part-time basis starting September 1st. She will be a valuable asset to us, assisting with mailings, events, the Alpha1 Journal, and the many projects we have underway. Some of you may already recognize her name, and that's not surprising. She worked for many years at the health agency "PCM"—initially under Mr. von Loeben. There, she was also involved with the German Lung Sports Association (AG Lungensport in Deutschland). Subsequently, as head of the office, she took on numerous responsibilities for the German Patient League for Respiratory Diseases. She particularly enjoyed planning, organizing, and conducting the lung conferences in Worms and Potsdam, as well as contributing to the patient magazine "Luftpost.".
