We're never short of ideas, and it's becoming increasingly clear that working in a self-help group doesn't have to be boring. On November 3, 2018, the members of the Saxony & Saxony-Anhalt self-help group of Alpha1 Germany e.V. traveled to Freiberg in Saxony. There, we visited the world's largest mineral collection, "Terra Mineralia." The beauty of the sculptures created by nature is breathtaking. We were able to see this for ourselves during a guided tour of Freudenstein Castle, and we all probably lost track of time in awe. For lunch, we had reserved a table at the Bohemian restaurant "Stadtwirtschaft Freiberg." While chatting with individual members, we enjoyed excellent food prepared according to Bohemian recipes, delicious drinks, and the imaginative decor of the restaurant brought back many pleasant memories of times gone by... Mr. Tau was ever-present! We were also able to welcome a new member to our self-help group. We'll keep up the good work!
We thank the Hauke family for the good idea of holding the meeting there and we thank Alpha1 Deutschland eV for supporting our self-help group.
