Alpha1 General Meeting and Information Day 2017 in Göttingen

Our association Alpha1 Germany held a successful and exceptionally well-attended general meeting with almost 190 members on April 21, 2017 at the Hotel Freizeit In in Göttingen.

We, the board, would like to take this opportunity to thank all members, speakers, and visitors. Our special thanks go to the members of Alpha1 Germany, who unanimously approved the actions of our board without any dissenting votes or abstentions.

The following day, together with around 230 participants from Germany and abroad, we experienced an informative, interesting, and thoroughly enjoyable Alpha1 information day. The following speakers made this day truly special:

  • Dr. Monika Tempel, Donaustauf Clinic, Center for Pneumology, Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy: Lungs and the psyche – essential and groundbreaking information on the topic of “psychopneumology”
  • Ms. Margaretha Hunfeld, Training Officer, BVGT: Everyone needs memory training.

During the event, there was an opportunity to participate in the Fibroscan–Study (liver study).
