A comment from PD Dr. Thomas Köhnlein (practicing in Leipzig and Pneumological Specialist Center Teuchern):
„"If the infusion intervals for substitution are to be increased from one to two weeks, then the dose must be quadrupled, not just doubled (that is why we have not always infused every 2 weeks)."“
The suggestion for the fortnightly infusion came from America. Like Dr. Köhnlein, we do not recommend this idea and thank him for the information.
