Ladies and Gentlemen,

My name is Ines Klöss and I am a student trainee at VisionHealth GmbH. I contacted you several months ago regarding my bachelor's thesis, in which I conducted a survey on respiratory physiotherapy and pulmonary rehabilitation for Alpha-1 patients. Perhaps you remember it. The patient survey and my bachelor's thesis have been successfully completed; thank you very much for your help.

In order to continuously optimize our functions and optimally adapt Kata® to the needs of patients, we are currently conducting a project together with our development partner Studiomem (www.studiomem.com) will conduct another study in the coming days.

It is a matter of a 3-minute survey and a later one potential video interview (approx. 1 hour) for patients with chronic lung diseases who use or want to use an inhaler with the help of Kata's instructions.

To provide a small incentive for patients, we are raffling off 10 Amazon vouchers worth €10 among all selected interviewees, and everyone will receive a smartphone holder.

It would be very helpful if you could forward this email to your self-help group members so that we can reach as many participants as possible for the patient survey.

Thank you for your support!

Patients can access the survey here:

The health app Kata® (www.kata-inhalation.comKata®, installed on a smartphone, shows users how to inhale correctly in a simple and easy-to-understand way. The app also reminds users to inhale and assesses whether they have completed each step of the inhalation process to ensure optimal delivery of the medication to the lungs. Kata® provides text and images documenting the success of each inhalation session and tracking user behavior. This can significantly improve treatment and therapy outcomes. Respiratory therapies are now considerably easier and more effective for patients. All personal data is anonymous, and the app's data protection practices are, of course, GDPR compliant.

Our app with improved inhalation trainer can currently be tested for free in the App Store.
