Since April 2020, the company „widerspruch.online“ has been helping patients when statutory health, pension or long-term care insurance companies have rejected the requested benefit.
Social lawyers Felix Korten and Jan-Philippe von Hagen from Hamburg aim to offer insured individuals a straightforward and free way to assert their rights through this platform. If the appeal is successful, the health insurance company pays for the treatment or assistive device and reimburses the lawyers for their appeal fees. If, however, the appeal is unsuccessful, the lawyers bear the costs of their legal representation. The patient incurs no costs whatsoever.
